FREMONT, CA: 11 Giraffes, Digital Signage software provider, introduces Digital Signage for Google Chrome. Digital Signage is a type of electronic display which is used to display content such as digital images, videos, multimedia and information for advertisement and awareness.

11Giraffes in collaboration with Google has built an application for use with the Google for Work platform. A Google Android version of 11Giraffes Digital Signage media player was already available.  Chrome OS will support different version of this media player.

With the use of 11Giraffes Digital Signage Chrome app, users remotely manage the presentation of audio and video through the 11Giraffes web-based content management system. This app allows users to upload and schedule media, create touch screen interactive applications and video walls, monitor playback, and traffic content to individual or groups of displays worldwide.

“Based on our success with Google Android digital signage, adding support for Google Chrome made good business sense,” said Jim Marascio, Chief Technology Officer and Vice President of Operations, 11Gireffes. The 11Giraffes Digital Signage may bring into display and manage on Google Chromebox devices using Google’ s Chrome Management Console. This web based Chrome Management Console allows IT departments to easily structure and manage Chrome OS device across enterprise network in corporate, educations and non-profit environments.

Chrome OS provides powerful, low-cost platform, PC hardware program for digital signage. Digital Signage app is also available through the Google Chrome Web Store to be deployed via Chrome Management Console. The app will run via different distribution channels without Chrome Management Console and Chrome OS device.
