The 4RU 19” Rack Control and Monitoring Surface offers a 16.9” (1920 x 624) high-resolution display, enabling numerous video image controls and audio quality displays to be viewed side-by-side.

FREMONT, CA: Densitron, the world pioneer in creative human-machine interface (HMI) and display technologies, has introduced two significant new additions to its famous UReady portfolio of control and monitoring solutions. Both planned for a wide variety of broadcast and media uses, the latest releases are UReady 4RU 19” Rack Control and Monitoring Surface and UReady 2RU Control Surface Driven by the X86 Platform.

Bazile Peter, Global Product Manager–HMI Solutions, Densitron, commented: “The functionality of many traditional control surfaces tends to be rather limited and means they are often only suitable for relatively simple HMI. But with our ever-growing UReady range, we have designed a series of solutions that augment core display and control functionality with superb capacitive touch control, high contrast ratio and high-resolution glass-estate. With these two latest multi-faceted products ready for 4RU and 2RU rack-mounting, we expect to further expand our footprint in broadcast environments such as portable production units, OB vehicles, studios and control rooms.”

The 4RU 19” Rack Control and Monitoring Surface offers a 16.9” (1920 x 624) high-resolution display, enabling numerous video image controls and audio quality displays to be viewed side-by-side. The integration of a high-quality TFT monitor with capacitive feedback allows the solution to be implemented as an integrated signal interface, with USB for touchscreen and Display Port, DVI, and VGA for video signals. Built to accommodate a myriad of broadcast applications, this big addition to the UReady range can be used for signal and picture tracking, as a multi-touch PCT control device, or as a hybrid of both.

The X86-powered 2RU Control Surface includes a 1920 x 285-pixel display and an optically bonded capacitive touchscreen. Wide-angle symmetric viewing capability makes the product suitable for a wide range of applications in broadcasting, telecommunications, and other networked control and monitoring environments. Centered on the Intel Apollo N4200 Quad-Core processor, the built-in X86 architecture and software ecosystem support fast and pain-free customer implementation. With a GPU built on the Intel Gen9 architecture supporting DirectX12, the product has Ethernet access and has full support for both Linux and Windows 10 operating systems.
