The AT&T TV voice-facilitated remote control is combined with Google Assistant, letting users instruct it to tune to a channel, search for movies or shows, provide weather reports and even dim the living-room lights if they have a compatible smart-home setup. The service alone is unlikely to drive a dramatic shift in sub-trends but should lower costs in entertainment segment while providing a boost to addressable advertising AT&T TV enables a maximum of three concurrent streams and comprises three months of free access to HBO, Showtime and Starz, Cinemax, and video-on-demand library with 55,000 titles and 500 hours of DVR storage.
