Latest HDBaseT AV Distribution Products for Residential and Commercial Integrators

Blustream announces the release of five new HDBaseT AV distribution products for residential and commercial integrators.

FREMONT, CA: Blustream announces that it has widened its line of HDBaseT AV distribution products for residential and commercial integrators with five new offerings that combine exceptional video performance with better audio capacities. Now shipping to the US market, the new additions to Blustream's lineup include 8x8 and 6x6 HDBaseT matrixes, an HDBaseT receiver; an HDBaseT extender with audio return channel control; and a four-way HDMI switch with HDBaseT.

Leveraging color space conversion (CSC) technology, the 6x6 HMXL66ARC, and 8x8 HMXL88ARC HDBaseT matrixes help 4K 60Hz 4:4:4 resolutions about distances of 40 meters through a single CAT-6 cable. Both devices provide advanced audio features designed for integrating all AV sources in the system. Each features an integrated audio matrix for better audio routing. Using ARC, allows the audio from displays and all sources to be embedded and routed through the system at the user's discretion.

Tailored to work in conjunction with the latest matrixes, the RX70CS HDBaseT CSC receiver extends HDMI, bi-directional IR, and RS-232 signals up to 40 meters at 4K 18Gbps and up to 70 meters at 1080p. The device helps HDMI 2.0 and allows ARC control when used with the HMXL66ARC, HMXL88ARC, or compatible Blustream solutions. Besides, the RX70CS supports simultaneous analog stereo and optical TOSLINK audio breakout.

The new HEX70ARC-KIT extender offers improved HDBaseT integration with the latest AV receivers and soundbars. Purpose-built for integrators needing reliable ARC delivery via both HDMI and optical sources, the device distributes HDMI, ARC, optical audio return, bi-directional IR, and bi-directional power over cable (PoC) up to 40 meters at 4K 60Hz 4:2:0 and 70 meters at 1080p.
